Debuting in 2022, Caldwell's The King Is Dead Escape Plan cigar extends the popular The King Is Dead series. The original is a Dominican puro, and while the Escape Plan version also features a Maduro wrapper from the Dominican Republic and a Dominican binder, it showcases a new filler blend of tobaccos from Nicaragua, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. Like the original, it's hand-rolled at the William Ventura factory in the DR, and while it's not a limited-edition release, its annual production is highly limited.
