The Macanudo Emissary Espana cigar line uses tobaccos sourced from five different countries. One of them is a Havana-seed that is used in the cigar’s filler. The tobacco is grown in a region of Spain that is known for its rocky soil and Mediterranean climate that makes it ideal for growing tobacco. The tobacco grown in this region (located close to the town of Riolobos) is known for its thick oily leaves and adding intensity and complexity to the blend. This hearty tobacco is blended with Dominican, Colombian, and Nicaraguan filler leaves, which are housed in a Nicaraguan binder and cloaked by a USA Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper. When lit this multi-national blend offers a sophisticated smoking indulgence that must be tried to be believed.
