The shank's protracted length minimizes hand movement, while cooling the smoke as it travels from the bowl's chamber to the stem's button. Erik Nørding, though perhaps best known for his Danish Fancy Freehand pipes, is no stranger to Churchwarden designs, offering a wide assortment of different renditions within his portfolio. This particular Churchwarden piece boasts a flared, Dublin-esque bowl and offers more than enough substance for the fingers to embrace. It's tastefully dressed in one of Nørding's handsome finishes, which highlights striking grain throughout the stummel.
