A pioneer of the Danish Fancy Freehand movement, Erik Nørding has been crafting pipes since the 1960s. He's built a considerable reputation over the decades, and his pipes are widely heralded for their organic flourishes, evocative finishes, and distinctive character. Nørding's Black series presents his one-of-a-kind Freehands in a classy, dress-pipe motif: Dress pipes are historically regarded for their black-and-white or black-and-silver color palettes — fit for a black-tie affair — and this Nørding Black Freehand exemplifies that aesthetic with a glossy, ebony finish and a complementing stem of jet-black acrylic accented with white swirls for a formal and elegant presentation.
