As a Canadian marque, it comes as no surprise that Brigham has at least one Canadian shape in their portfolio, with this "19" being a lengthy rendition of the classic profile. As per the shape's archetypal silhouette, the shank is an extended, ovoid length of briar paired to a sleekly tapering stem, easily balancing the presence of the bowl. Said bowl stands on a rounded heel and cants forward gently, affording the silhouette a dynamic look, and its walls make a nicely rounded taper up to the rim. A fairly neoclassical take on the timeless pipe shape, much of the visual weight here is focused on the bowl, though the overall weight here remains rather light.

Like all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.
